As the ceremony is scheduled for an outdoor location, some information about the weather might be useful.
August in Oregon averages around 79-80 degrees during the day, fluctuations of course exist.
Often, the nice warm days cool off to a pleasantly cool temperature at night, so a light extra layer for after dark is a good idea.
There is an average rainfall of 0.03 inches for August, so you'll have a hard time believing the rainy Portland rumors (knock on wood).
Though it is an evening wedding, we are not asking for Formal Attire. Dress up a bit please, but be comfortable. The suggested range would encompass Dressy Casual to Cocktail Attire to After Five Attire. If you happen to be a Scot, please either weight the kilt or go with some boxers under there.
